Me to We

This year, Schoo Middle School is proud to be joining the Me to We organization!  According to their website, Me to We is "an innovative social enterprise that offers socially conscious and environmentally friendly products and life-changing experiences.

Cool, right?

At Schoo, both Student Council and a club called Project Peace are going to be organizing our school's efforts, and we've chosen hunger as our theme.  Student Council will be focusing our efforts on local hunger-based initiatives, and Project Peace will be working on international hunger initiatives.

After our first meeting this year, our students identified several local hunger-related organizations with which they'd like to partner.  Thus, we have contacted and are planning to help the Food Bank of Lincoln, Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach, The Gathering Place, People's City Mission, and Kids Against Hunger.

We are so excited to start our work this year, as we look forward to making a difference in our community and in our world!

Student Council will meet throughout the school year on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month.  We hope you'll join us!
