Preparing the Bags

In order to support the efforts of the Food Bank of Lincoln, our Student Council will be hosting a food drive in conjunction with our Spirit Week next week.  At the conclusion of the week (which happens to be Halloween), we will be trick-or-treating throughout the Fallbrook neighborhood.

We are well aware that many residents in our neighborhood won't be home between 3:00-4:00 on Friday afternoon, but we still want residents to be able to participate.  Thus, tomorrow (October 23rd) we will be delivering grocery bags to every home in Fallbrook, allowing residents to fill the bags with canned goods and other non-perishable items.

We are grateful to the good people at the Fallbrook Super Saver, who graciously donated 250 bags for us to use.

We are also grateful for the work of students in the Schoo Middle School TLC classes, who helped to staple these messages onto the bags.

It looks like they had a lot of fun helping us in our Me to We efforts to scare hunger!

We are looking forward to distributing the bags tomorrow after school, and we would be so grateful for your willingness to join us!
